The Birdseye Diner is nestled in the heart of historic Castleton. It's a 50s diner I believe and looks like it from the neon sign to the menu. They have a great selection of food and you can go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can also get alcohol there if you want a drink to go with dinner. My favorites are their grilled cheese and their omelets. They have a great kid's menu too & the portions are HUGE. The waitresses are friendly and the service is speedy. In the summer months you can sit outside at a table and eat your meal while you watch the passersby.
